It looks like I'll be able to fulfill a few people's requests for these this year, so now I don't feel bad about posting it myself :)

Step One:
Make an LJ post. It can be public or friends only, whatever you’re most comfortable with. The post should contain your list of ten holiday wishes, and these wishes can be anything - from simple and fandom-related (a fan fiction written about your favorite pairing), to medium (a DVD you want), to really extravagant (a brand new laptop or car). Just make sure these are wishes for things you really, truly want.

If you’re wishing for things that must be mailed to you, like a DVD, make sure you include some sort of contact information in your post. This can be your mailing address or your email address, it doesn’t matter which. Just make sure Santa (or one of his elves) can somehow get in touch with you. :)

Also make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your LJ. The main reason for the holiday wish lists is to spread the joy of giving.

Step Two:
Skim through your friends list and see who has posted their own wish lists. Then - and this is the most important part - if you find a wish you can grant, and it’s in your heart to do so, make sure that person’s wish come true. Sometimes a person’s trash is another person’s treasure. If you have a leather jacket you don’t want or a gift certificate you’re never going to use, give it to someone who wants it.

Step Three:
Post this wish list any time after November 1st. Then repost it two weeks before Christmas.

Remember: You don’t need to spend money on these wishes to make them come true. Only spend money if you want to. The point isn’t to put people out, or to throw yourself into further in financial debt. The point of this is to provide everyone a chance to be someone’s secret Santa, to show someone what the holiday season is all about. Gifts can be made anonymously or not. It’s all up to you.

I can't recall if I asked this before, but...

for those of you who DO ovulate, do you ever experience some pain and discomfort a day or so AFTER you ovulate?
It feels like muscle cramps and aches in my woo-woo (medical term) and not so much in the area of my ovaries. It feels like I have period cramps, but those won't happen for another two or three weeks.

We are (slightly) past the 35K mark in NaNoWriMo! If I keep this up, I will finish, and that will be fucking amazing. Almost home stretch, people! Keep bringing in the encouragement - it really does help!

In other news, Gramma made me try Indian cuisine earlier. Yeah, I know, way to never eat something before in your life, Atma. But oh my god, dipping naan in red-hot curry sauce with chicken bits may very well be the best thing ever. I could eat this forever.

Thinking of changing my icons again, ho hum.

hey ladies.
i'm 16 yrs old and i've been on metformin 500 mg x2 day for about a year now. i have lost about 40 lbs (without exercise or diet) on metformin which is pretty much awesome but i am still troubled by my thin hair. i have been taking B vitamins for a few months but haven't seen much improvement. im wondering: have any of you seen any improvement in the head-hair department and what are you doing/taking to achieve this? my hair is really thin and sparse and i just feel like crap every morning when i realize there's nothing i can do besides wear it in a pony tail and even then it looks nasty.

Just want to thank people for buying up the metal tags! They are still not sold out but i will probably be placing an order monday for another 100 of 'em since they will hopefully sell out at the con. Feel free to keep ordering though If i do sell out, the new ones will arrive in two or four weeks so there could be a small wait. I will let people know if this happens! In other good news, the scarves arrived!! Thank GOD. So im going to scurry into the basement and silkscreen like a fiend before i have to go to bed mad early to get up at 7am. Yuuuuuck, 7am. The last time i saw 7am was when i went to sleep at 7am last week.

Hi, guys!

There are a couple fics I remembered reading here that I'd really like to show a friend. The thing is, I'm a little daunted by the thought of searching almost a year back within the community to find the posts, and since I'm not very active within Fanfiction I'm not quite sure where to look. If I could have some of you guys's help, I would appreciate it so much!

I don't remember titles, but I do remember the gist of what the stories were each about:

1. Shelly de Killer has a mission to kill Joe Darke, but eventually ends up convincing him to turn himself into the police after a turn of events
2. Gumshoe finds a sleeping Edgeworth in his office and covers him with his coat
3. Edgeworth is anorexic (Phoenix notices he doesn't eat much and starts putting hints together, finds him unconscious in his car and attempts to drive him to the hospital despite not knowing how, etc)

So if any of these descriptions happen to ring a bell, or if either of you three authors happen to be reading this, please let me know! *0*
